An interesting and entertaining afternoon walk down the Istiklal Street. Get insider look at the life beyond the main street, interesting historical highlights while zigzags towards Galata Tower. Meeting Point

Meet your guide in front (outside) of STARBUCKS located under “The Marmara Taksim Hotel”. It is about a 2-minute walk from the Taksim metro station. Your guide will wear a tour guide badge and will be easy to spot.

What To Expect

1. Taksim Square Taksim square has a little bit of everything and is worth a trip to witness people and their interactions. 15 minutes

2. Beyoglu Beyoğlu was the primary neighborhood of the foreign community as well as non-Muslim Ottoman subjects. You will learn about how cosmopolitan the neighborhood once was. 45 minutes

3. Cicek Pasaji Get to know the cosmopolitan culture of Istanbul on this guided walking tour. Explore the out of the beaten path of Beyoğlu neighborhood and learn where local people hang out, eat and drink. 20 minutes

4. Avrupa Pasaji Beyoglu the old European quarter of the city is Istanbul’s bohemian quarter, full of cafes, street performers and trendy young people. 20 minutes
