Overview

There are two fascinating white travertines area in Pamukkale district. First one is at Pamukkale Natural Park which most known. The second amazing travertines are at the underground. It is Kaklik Cave ! You will visit and explore both of them on this tour. Also, you will visit the Ancient Cites of Hierapolis and Laodicea. If you would like do this tour from/to your hotel in Istanbul, all airport transfers and round trip domestic flights are going to be included.

What To Expect

1. Istanbul We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul and then transfer to Istanbul airport for your flight to Denizli. Upon arrival Denizli/Cardak airport, your private driver will meet you at the exit gate of arrival terminal and then drive to Pamukkale Natural Park area. Afterward, you will meet with your private tour guide and you will start your full day tour. ** This service is valid for bookings to options which departure from Istanbul. 4 hours

Pamukkale Natural Park Your private tour guide and driver will meet you at the reception of your hotel in Pamukkale or Karahayit, and you will continue to Pamukkale Natural Park area, and start your full day tour. ** This service is valid for bookings to option of "Pamukkale to Pamukkale" 30 minutes

3. The highlights of Hierapolis are Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Antique Pool. And then, You will take some photos from the nicest corners of Pamukkale. 1 hour

4. Pamukkale Thermal Pools After visited the Hierapolis Ancient City, you will continue to the White Travertines of Pamukkale. There will be free time (approximately 75-90 minutes) to explore the natural beauties of Pamukkale and swim at the white travertines. Then meet again with the guide, start walking in the middle of travertines from up to down without shoes and socks. 1 hour 30 minutes

5. Pamukkale You will stop at a traditional Turkish restaurant and take your complimentary lunch. 1 hour

6. Karahayit After lunch, you will have experience traditional handcraft workshop for get lecture about the special stones/metals of Pamukkale. 30 minutes

7. Laodicea Excavations here have revealed artifacts dating from 3500 BC (Late Chalcolithic) to 3000 BC (Early Bronze Age). The city’s name comes from the Seleucid king Antiochus ii, who named it for his wife Laodike in the 3rd century BC when it wa thriving. Later controlled by the kings of Pergamum, it was willed to the Roman Empire, and thrived again from the 4th to 6th centuries. Its importance then numbered it among the Seven Churches of Revelation. 1 hour

8. Kaklik Cave The cave was formed over 2.5 million years ago, during the Pliocene Period. The roof collapsed, allowing entrance. The maximum depth is 14 metres and inside there are several rimstone pools and waterfalls, which are thought to be beneficial in the treatment of skin diseases and arthritis. Several of the walls receive enough sunlight to grow moss and climbing plants. The cave will take around 20 minutes to explore, with wooden walkways leading through the 190-metre circle. 20 minutes

9. Istanbul At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to Denizli/Cardak airport for your flight back to Istanbul if you booked the option of "Istanbul to Istanbul". Your return flight to Istanbul and your return transfer in Istanbul will be included on this option. 4 hours

10. At the end of the tour, we will drop back you to Denizli/Cardak airport if you booked the option of "Istanbul to CardakAirport". This option facilitate to connect your trip with a flight to any other city of Turkey. 1 hour

11. Pamukkale At the end of the tour, we will drop back you to by your own reserved hotel in Pamukkale or Karahayit if you booked the option of "Istanbul to Pamukkale" or "Pamukkale to Pamukkale" 30 minutes
