Overview

In this tour, you will be taken by our experienced local guide across three different villages of the Hmong, Giay and Red Dao ethnic minorities. The tour will give you the chance to enjoy fantastic mountain landscapes as well as to see Sapa’s most significant river and valley. You will also see the famous rice terrace fields and learn more about the culture, customs, and traditions of the two main different ethnic minorities in Sapa. Our tour guide will also introduce you to Hmong’s unique marriage traditions, rice fields, work, and house building techniques, and much more!

We will meet at your hotel in Sapa town or in front of Sapa’s main church When you arrive in Sapa, if you have the internet on your phone, please try to search on the google map this address call: "Notre Dame Cathedral Sapa" or " Nha Tho Da Sapa " in Vietnamese. When you arrive there if you do not see our guide or we have not arrived there yet. You will see many people invite you to join their tour, but please keep your time waiting for us I will arrive soon.

What To Expect

1. Sapa We will meet at your hotel in Sapa town or in front of Sapa’s main church

2. Y Linh Ho Y Linh Ho village. The tour starts from SAPA. Our local guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa Town or in front of the main church. After a brief introduction, you will be taken 2km down to Cat Cat’s road, a well-known village of the Hmong minority. From there, you will be reaching the hanging bridge of Muong Hoa river and then continue uphill into the mountains and through a bamboo forest. From there you will get the chance to admire some of the biggest and most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam as well as enjoy the majestic mountain view on top of the Hoang Lien mountain. You will then head down to Y Linh Ho village and have lunch at a small, traditional restaurant ran by a local Hmong family. 2 hours

3. After the break, you will make it to Lao Chai, a village of Black Hmong. Located in the northern part of Vietnam, Sapa the town floating in frost is not only famous for spectacular mountains but also for tranquil villages. Among those villages, Lao Chai Village, with its irresistible temptation, will attract you at first sight. 2 hours

4. Ta Van Village Coming to Ta Van, visitors not only see themselves in the picturesque scenery of nature with the murmuring sound of streams and the singing of wild birds calling you to find love but also enjoy the peaceful appearance of the village. The village leans back on the Hoang Lien Son Mountain and Muong Hoa Stream is on the front side. The houses of the local face the Northeast direction. According to the feng-shui concept of the Giay, it is not good to build a house facing the mountain and downwards the stream flow. For hundreds of years, the Giay people still kept their typical culture in the customs, religion and festival. 2 hours
