Overview

Your tour guide will provide you with detailed information about the history and significance of each site you visit. At the ancient city of Ephesus, you'll explore the well-preserved ruins of this once-thriving Roman city, including the Library of Celsus, the Grand Theater, and the Odeon. You'll learn about the daily life of the ancient inhabitants and their remarkable engineering and architectural achievements. Next, you'll visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred site believed to be the final home of Mary, the mother of Jesus. You'll learn about the history and significance of the site and have the opportunity to light candles and make wishes. Finally, you'll visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. At the end of the tour, you'll be taken back to your hotel or cruise port in Kusadasi or Selcuk. 2. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House) The House of Virgin Mary, is a place where according to the beliefs of many people Mary, the mother of Jesus, spent her last years of her life. She was supposed to arrive at Ephesus together with St. John and lived there in the years 37-45 CE until her Assumption or Dormition. 45 minutes

3. The Temple of Artemis Temple of Artemis or Artemision, also known as the Temple of Diana, was a Greek Temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis. It was located in Ephesus and it was one of the seven wonders of the world. 15 minutes
