Statue next to the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel in front of the Louvre Museum (important: not the Arc de triomphe de l'Etoile, up the Champs Elysées Avenue). When facing the arc, meet at the winged statue on the left. Your Walks coordinator will be waiting for you with a sign.

What To Expect

1. Louvre Museum Meet your guide at the Arc du Carousel just across from the Louvre. Walks tours are always the most informative ones. They hire the best tour guides with advanced degrees and strong research experience. The tour guides are always friendly and helpful. The Louvre Museum tour was very good. Ms. Violette is an excellent guide. Thanks to her we learned a lot of information. Highly recommend the tour. She also sent us an email with a good list of restaurants recommendations including some which are all vegetarians. We went to three restaurants recommended by her. Not surprised that they were very good! Thanks Violette!!

Exceeded our expectations - Perfect way to experience the Louvre

My family and I did a Louvre highlights tour with Adam and were just blown away with how much we enjoyed it. Adam is hands down one of the best guides I’ve had ever. He peppered his tour with humor, information, history, and cultural context. It made the art really come alive for us in terms of what we should look for and appreciate that has significance way beyond simply the art that is in front of us. For bonus, he shared tips about navigating the Louvre and recommendations around Paris. We did the small group tour early in the morning and were lucky enough to get a private experience for the 6 of us. The highlights tour in the morning was perfect to give our group the must hits in the morning. For those that have never been, the Louvre is overwhelming. A guide is really a must. We lunched and roamed at our own pace in the afternoon. Adam is fun and thoughtful for the 3 generations we had with us. Originally Canadian, his English is impeccable and relatable for us group of Americans. We can’t recommend him enough and would love to do future tours with him next time we are in town.

Andre our greeter was excellent. On time and very helpful. Stephanie (I believe that was her name, she was French/English) was incredible. Well practiced, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and very hospitable. What a treat to be walked through with a headset on listening to her guide us through. I had been to the Louvre before, but without a guide. This was such a great , worry free journey...so informational. She had a locker secured for us and breezed us through all lines and checkpoints. I could not recommend this higher. It was perfect.
