What To Expect

1. Did you know that Demre was once referred to as the ancient city of Myra? Given its significant connection to ancient history and its location along the picturesque Lycian Way, what could be a better starting point for your boat excursion to Kekova? You have two options for departure: 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. from Demre harbor.

2. Kekova Discover the fascinating secrets of Kekova’s history on this unique adventure around the Sunken City. The ancient city of Dolchiste was flooded due to an earthquake in the 2nd century, and its resulting underwater ruins never fail to leave an impression. 15 minutes

3. Sunken City Ruins of Simena "As this is a restricted area, swimming is not allowed here. But worry not! You can still explore the site by taking a boat ride alongside the ruins. Our boat is equipped with a glass window at the bottom, which will enable you to take some amazing photos and make unforgettable memories." 15 minutes

4. Castle of Simena Experience the stunning beauty of Simena Castle and ancient city ruins from our cruise. Entrance fee: 4 euros (or free with Museum Pass Turkey or Mediterranean Museum Pass) 1 hour 30 minutes

5. Burc Bay Take a refreshing swim in Burç Bay where the water is cooler due to natural springs. 1 hour

6. AsIrlI AdasI Deniz MagarasI Explore this fascinating cave, known for its natural formation, remarkable size and distinctive curved entrance.

7. Demre (Kale) Upon the completion of the half-day tour, we will return to Demre Harbour, which is where the boat trip concludes. If you opt for the morning trip, you will have the rest of the afternoon to unwind or explore the town further.
