Ancient City of Ephesus The ancient city of Ephesus, located in the plain between the Bülbül Mountain and Panayır Mountain, within the borders of Selçuk district, has a worldwide reputation and is on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a city that has changed its place repeatedly throughout history; the ruins have spread over a wide area such as 8 square kilometers. 2 hours

2. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House) House of the Virgin Mary, the sacred place where it is believed she spent her last days before she died. 1 hour

3. Saint John Kilisesi The Basilica of St. John was a basilica in Ephesus. It was constructed by Justinian I in the 6th century. It stands over the believed burial site of John the Apostle. It was modeled after the now lost Church of the Holy Apostles in Constantinople 1 hour

4. The Temple of Artemis Temple of Artemis (Diana, Artemission), which was built in honour of the Greek Goddess of hunting, wild nature and fertility named Artemis. The temple served as both a marketplace and religious institution. Nowadays you can see only a few remains of this magnificent structure.
