Very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide (Hisa), comfortable and safe drive, cenote was great and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted there. The flexibility of the tour was great.

This was an amazing day! Alan, our guide, was the best. He was kind and funny. He made us feel like we were friends instead of clients. He allowed us to be flexible with our schedule since it was just me and my husband on this tour. He drives very safely and we got to each destination in great time. Alan has a lot of information about all of our sites and places we passed on the way. He was a great photographer when we wanted a picture of the two of us. He had great recommendations throughout the day. Our guide in Chichen Itza, Joel, was great, too. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the culture and history of the Maya. He showed us the photos and videos to accompany the topics of discussion at the site on his iPad. That was nice as opposed to some guides who had laminated cards. The lunch in Valladolid was delicious. The cenote was beautiful and refreshing. We went at the perfect time because we were the only ones there at the time we arrived! It was awesome to have a personal experience throughout the entire day.

This was a Fantastic experience from start to finish! Mexico Highlights communicated the details of the trip very well, and sent reminders when appropriate. Our guide Julio was a genuine and caring local who was very accommodating in providing a unique and individualized experience. He was extremely knowledgeable about the sites we visited and the history of the ancient cities. It was like having a local and informed family member along for the trip. We took a couple of small detours at our request to see other areas and Julio knew just where to go. I was originally interested in only the Chitzen-Itza leg of the tour, but the cenote and the old Spanish Villiage with lunch at a local restaurant were both parts I would visit again. This is definitely the company to use for any adventure, and I will trust them with our next adventures in Mexico!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing day with our guide Hisa! He was so personable and knew so much about history, archeology, and anthropology. He answered any question we had not just about Mexico, but Spain and other empires around South America as well. Our guide picked us up right at our Airbnb in downtown Cancún and provided us with some history of the area. It was a smooth trip to Chichen Itza and we escaped all the lines and crowds. We have some great pictures of just us with no one in the background! Next we drove to Valladolid and got dropped off right at the restaurant Hisa recommended since it was raining. He told us about the history of the city as we drove through so we didn’t feel like we missed too much due to the rain. Finally we went to Xux Ha Cenote which we had completely to ourselves! The ride back was smooth again. The water provided all day was greatly appreciated! We arrived back around 5pm and couldn’t have had a better day!

This was one of the best experiences of our lives all around! Our tour guide julio was amazing and made it all so easy but really felt like it was just me and my partner at the same time
