This is a private tour with local and expert tour guides. This tour takes you to the must-see places of Ephesus and its surroundings.. The first stop of our tour is House of Virgin Mary where it is believed that she spent her last days. This house offers visitors a spiritual experience. This place has been visited by Pope VI Paul in 1967, Pope John Paul II in 1979, and Pope XVI Benedict in 2006. After visiting House of Virgin Mary, our next stop will be Ephesus which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After exploring the magnificent ruins such as Odeon, State Agora, Temple of Domitian, Curetes Street, Terrace Houses, Temple of Hadrian, Celsus Library, Trade Agora, Theatre and Harbor Street, we will visit Artemis Temple one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We recommend that you arrive at the meeting point as early as possible after the ship arrives at the port. This way we can bypass the heavy traffic and visit the ruins without long lines. FOR HOTEL GUESTS: We Pick you up from your hotel lobby.

What To Expect

1. Your professional tour guide will meet you at the Kusadasi Cruise Port exit gate, holding a sign with your name. From there, you'll embark on a comfortable drive to Ephesus, ensuring a seamless and timely start to your adventure. If you have any special requests or need additional information, feel free to ask your guide upon arrival. 20 minutes

2. Ancient City of Ephesus Begin your journey with an immersive exploration of the UNESCO-listed Ancient City of Ephesus, a highlight of the Roman Empire. Starting from the upper gate, you'll wander through stunning ruins, including the Grand Theatre, Celsus Library, Temple of Hadrian, and more. Gain insight into Ephesus's rich history and marvel at its impressive architecture, which has fascinated visitors for centuries. 2 hours

3. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House) The next visit is the House of the Virgin Mary where it is believed that she spent her last days. As one of the pilgrimage centers of Christianity, this house offers visitors a spiritual experience with its atmosphere. 1 hour

4. Ephesus Terrace Houses Explore the Terrace Houses, where the affluent residents of Ephesus once lived. These well-preserved multi-story homes, built on the hillside, feature intricate mosaics and frescoes that provide a fascinating glimpse into the luxurious lifestyles of the ancient elite. Note that there are stairs to navigate, so please let us know if you have any mobility concerns. 40 minutes

5. The Temple of Artemis Admire the remains of the Temple of Artemis, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Although only a few columns remain, the historical significance of this site offers a compelling look into ancient religious practices and architectural achievements. 20 minutes

6. Saint John Kilisesi Visit the Basilica of St. John, where it is believed that St. John the Evangelist was buried. This substantial Christian site, one of the largest churches of its time, provides a rich historical narrative and an opportunity to reflect on the early Christian history of the region. 2 minutes

7. Kusadasi After exploring these remarkable sites, you will be driven back to Kusadasi Port. We guarantee an on-time return to your ship, allowing you to relax and reflect on your enriching journey.
