Perfect tour!!! We were a pretty small group of 6 people, walking from one special place to another, hearing about the culture, history and culinary of Hanoi and Vietnam. Every spot was great, the food was awesome, and Trang is an amazing tour guide. She had perfect english, and diverse and coherent knowledge that made this tour informational, interesting and tasty! Nothing bad to say, 100% recommended!

Taste of Hanoi and introduction to the Vietnamese food 942994504 Trang was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. She was able to answer all our questions and satisfy our curiosity and hunger. The local dishes we tried were interesting and different in texture and taste. I've even tried making some steamed rice pancakes. The tour gave us a chance to understand more about Vietnamese cuisine and culture.

What makes the food tour so amazing begins with the tour guide...Trang from Foodie Frolics. She has such a bubbly personality and pride in the food culture of Vietnam that it brings all of the dishes to life. I complimented her that I thought her English was better than mine. She has selected stops that offer very high quality entrees, better than comparable restaurants I've tried in Hanoi. The tour is invaluable for a first timer to learn the history, understand the dish as presented, how to prep it for eating by adding savory and spicy condiments, and how to consume using chopsticks. We stopped at over eight shops sampling entrees to desserts she personally selects. A fellow attendee had a cultural problem with eating certain foods and she made certain an alternate offering was available for him. Trang took the time to answer all of our questions...even extending the tour beyond the projected three hours. I gave it five stars because this tour truly deserves it, based upon my expectations.

We had an amazing time on this tour! The food sampled was really delicious. Trang our guide was especially terrific answering our many questions about food, culture, Hanoi and Vietnam. The food stops were fun and we went back to many of them days later. We highly recommend taking this tour when jn Hanoi - a great time!

We just did this food tour with Mrs. Trang and thoroughly enjoyed it! SHe is very pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. SHe knows the best small restuarants, and had a lovely variety of various foods. She took us through the back to see the real Hanoi, and the food variety and taste were the best! I would highly recommend this food tour to everyone who comes to Hanoi and wants to enjoy an Authentic tasty food! Don from Canada
